PRINCIPLES

A few things are non-negotiable.

A deal is a deal.
We do what we say and expect the same in return.

Straight conversations beat comfortable ambiguity.
Problems generally become easier once everybody is prepared to call them what they are.

Value matters more than activity.
Being busy is not the same as making progress.

Respect works both ways.
We take organisations, people and responsibilities seriously without making ourselves unnecessarily important.

Independence matters.
Advice only has value when it can also be advice somebody does not necessarily want to hear.

We choose our work carefully.
Expertise alone is not enough.

There needs to be trust, a meaningful challenge and a reasonable expectation that we can genuinely contribute.
